network analyst for an opportunity in columbia, sc. candidates must be eligible to earn a low-level us security clearance (public trust).
work arrangement:- partial onsite: tuesday, wednesday and thursday and as needed.
- w2 position; 12 months
- must be eligible to earn a public trust security clearance, which requires a thorough background search and us citizenship.
position summary:- this network analyst will be responsible for implementing security remediations, managing network migrations, and providing network support for new business applications.
- daily tasks include defining network structures, leveraging automation, utilizing cisco aci for next-generation networking, and supporting disaster recovery efforts.
- soft skills required include attention to detail, ability to effectively communicate with peers and partner it teams, ability to pivot to multiple tasks, strong troubleshooting skills.
required technologies:nice to have:preferred certifications: the team: - the network change team is responsible for making the changes required to facilitate all connectivity for the entire organization.
- this team plays a crucial role in ensuring the security, efficiency, and reliability of the organization's network infrastructure.
- this is a collaborative team that is focused on providing support to their customers to ensure the business applications they support are available and operational.
- standard hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm are the standard work hours; additional hours will be required as business dictates. overtime, on call, weekends and off hour work will be required
minimum required work experience:- 6 years of network or other job-related experience.
- preferred work experience: 8 years of experience working in infrastructure/network environments performing analysis (hardware and/or software), planning, and implementation.
required education/equivalencies: - bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or other job-related degree;
- or, associates degree in cs, it, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
- or, 4 years job-related work experience (total 10 years without a degree)
- preferred: bachelor's degree.
