what you'll do: - leadership & oversight - manage and supervise career development services, academic programs, and career technical training teams.
- strategic planning & compliance - ensure all programs align with dol, api, and job corps directives.
- performance management - monitor operational management system (oms) metrics, along with being responsible for career technical training programs and outcomes
- budget management - control expenditures and drive performance improvements.
- student & staff development - provide training, coaching, and mentorship to staff while fostering career success standards for students.
- policy implementation & evaluation - develop and revise center operating procedures, analyze program effectiveness, and lead continuous improvements.
- facility oversight - conduct regular inspections, ensuring a safe, high-quality learning and work environment.
- community & industry partnerships - build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, workforce councils, academic advisory committees, and local organizations.
- student support & engagement - motivate and mentor students in career readiness, training, and life skills development.
- uphold center policies & safety standards - enforce zero tolerance and center behavior management policies, ensuring a positive, inclusive culture.
what we're looking for: - bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience in program management).
- 5+ years of leadership experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- passion for youth development, workforce training, and student success.
- strong analytical & problem-solving skills - ability to assess program effectiveness, track key metrics, and drive improvements.
- exceptional communication & leadership abilities - proven success in staff training, policy implementation, and performance management.
- tech-savvy & detail-oriented - proficient in data reporting, compliance tracking, and program evaluation.
- valid driver's license & acceptable driving record (unless waived by management).
