job title & role description:
the recruiting & engagement specialist will work closely with the hr team, reporting to the director of talent & engagement. the role is responsible for recruiting top healthcare talent in a highly competitive market, ensuring a seamless hiring experience for candidates, and actively supporting the company's employee engagement and retention efforts.
this role demands a self-motivated, adaptable individual with a strong sense of servant leadership and a passion for driving the mission of the organization forward. you will be the face of upward health for potential employees, promoting our mission, values, and culture.
skills required:
minimum of 3 years' experience specifically in high-volume healthcare recruiting, with a focus on clinical roles (lpns, rns, fnps, etc.).
proficient in recruiting platforms such as linkedin, indeed, adp, and applicant tracking systems (ats). ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders.
experience working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, with a proven track record in managing a high volume of candidates.
ability to work closely with hiring managers and hr team members to develop and implement recruiting and engagement strategies.
strong understanding of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee and candidate information.
ability to work in a dynamic, ever-changing environment with flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
