the sales associate position is focused primarily on the acquisition of new customers. this position is a significant driver of new profitable business growth for diesel direct.

knowledge and experience:

• establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets for both volume and gm
• qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers
  
• 5 or more years' experience in the transportation industry or oil business
• proven success in sales and history of ability to close business
• truck leasing experience preferred
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• bachelor's degree preferred
