we are seeking a highly driven, strategic, and experienced senior sales manager to join our dynamic team at the doubletree by hilton hotel denver. if you have a strong track record of delivering results, a passion for building client relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment-this opportunity is for you.

as senior sales manager, you'll take a lead role in proactively identifying, soliciting, and managing group business within your assigned vertical markets and geographical territories. you'll play a key part in maximizing revenue, achieving personal and team sales goals, and ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service from first contact to final execution.

your role:

• respond promptly to all assigned leads to ensure timely engagement and conversion.
• drive results through persistent follow-up, client engagement, and contract negotiation with integrity.
• prospect new business via outbound sales calls, direct outreach, and market research in assigned verticals.
• cultivate relationships with new and existing accounts to increase loyalty, repeat business, and referrals.
• prepare contracts & proposals in line with hilton and pyramid global hospitality standards.
• conduct creative site inspections to impress and inspire confidence in potential clients.
• attend industry events such as trade shows and association meetings to promote our property and connect with meeting planners.
• collaborate internally with operational teams to ensure seamless execution of group events.
• monitor trends and stay informed on market shifts to adjust strategies and remain competitive.
• manage your pipeline using delphi (salesforce) to track leads, tentatives, and booked business accurately.
• meet and exceed sales goals as outlined by the director of group sales on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
