Service Support Specialist

Description:

the service support specialist will assist the service department in dispatching, customer service, and completion of generator warranty & new unit start-ups.

responsibilities:

  • schedule all national account start-ups assigned to kge by generac
  • provide support to our contractors, customers, and factory representatives
  • utilize in-house software to submit appropriate documentation for payment by generac
  • utilize generac website to pull credit memos and invoice jobs
  • assist with dispatching technicians to assigned projects
  • support the service team as needed
  • rotate in after hours on-call rotation
  • performs other related duties as assigned

requirements:

  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to develop relationships with co-workers & vendors
  • experience in microsoft office (excel, word, outlook)
  • excellent customer service skills
  • excellent time management skills

education/experience:

  • high school diploma.
  • 1 year experience in customer service, administrative or related field

physical requirements:

  • on-site position
  • prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
