Title:
Service Support Specialist
Description:
the service support specialist will assist the service department in dispatching, customer service, and completion of generator warranty & new unit start-ups.
responsibilities:
- schedule all national account start-ups assigned to kge by generac
- provide support to our contractors, customers, and factory representatives
- utilize in-house software to submit appropriate documentation for payment by generac
- utilize generac website to pull credit memos and invoice jobs
- assist with dispatching technicians to assigned projects
- support the service team as needed
- rotate in after hours on-call rotation
- performs other related duties as assigned
requirements:
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to develop relationships with co-workers & vendors
- experience in microsoft office (excel, word, outlook)
- excellent customer service skills
- excellent time management skills
education/experience:
- high school diploma.
- 1 year experience in customer service, administrative or related field
physical requirements:
- on-site position
- prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
