we are seeking a motivated, energetic, and hard-working individual to add to our accounting/bookkeeping team. our oakland cpa firm has been in business for over 40 years, providing "hands-on" service to our clientele consisting mostly of health care professionals. you'll be preparing financial statements, after the fact, for your set of 25-30 clients. training and team member assistance always provided. requirements: comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, gl, financial statements 3 years experience preparing financial statements from original source documents strong computer skills with a proficiency in word, excel, outlook excellent verbal and written communication skills ability to work independently strong work ethic, excellent prioritization and multi-tasking skills overtime may be required during deadlines thomson reuters accounting software experience a plus quickbooks or quicken a plus accounting degree preferred, not required salary is $70,000 annually, plus an additional $5,000 after the orientation period if you are successful in this position. discretionary bonuses are twice a year. full time, on site, open immediately. our building amenities include plenty of free, secured parking, a complimentary shuttle to and from bart, a fitness center and deli.
