our client, a leader in innovative energy solutions, is seeking a staff electrical engineer, npi to join their team. the ideal candidate will have previous npi and high voltage experience which will align successfully in the organization.

location: sunnyvale, california

pay range: $69.71 - $76.92 hourly

what's the job?

• manage new npi project transfers to manufacturing and contract manufacturers.
• communicate clearly and professionally within the team and with external vendors.
• develop interconnect wiring diagrams/schematics, wire harness drawings, and test procedures.
• lead the electrical team in failure analysis of electrical components and implement preventative or corrective actions.
• train manufacturing personnel on test processes, test equipment, and test software.

what's needed?

• 6-7+ years of experience in electrical engineering or new product introduction.
• experience developing schematics and wire harness cad (using autocad).
• hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting high power, high voltage equipment in a laboratory environment.
• strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• bs or ms in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
