we're currently looking for a second shift production supervisor to lead our manufacturing and drilling departments and keep our advanced operations running smoothly. if you excel at motivating teams, optimizing processes, and driving results, this is the opportunity for you!
what you'll do
- promote a strong health and safety culture by conducting safety training, performing audits, and ensuring all safety policies and practices are being followed.
- ensure quality standards are met by auditing product quality to identify and resolve product quality issues.
- organize, assign, and supervise daily work for a team up to 40 production employees.
- ensure labor efficiency metrics are met by ensuring we're running to standard staffing levels while hitting production output targets.
- ensure accuracy of all production records and reporting.
- drive troubleshooting of equipment and process to minimize downtime while collaborating with key support teams (maintenance, it, r&d)
- participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and overall cost.
- foster a positive and productive team environment to meet operational goals.
- support workforce planning and associate development with cross training to ensure a strong talent pipeline.
- manage employee performance while driving team development including training, coaching and performance reviews.

requirements
- minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- strong knowledge of machinery and equipment.
- experience with lean manufacturing, six sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- proficiency with microsoft office (word, excel, outlook).
- familiarity with erp systems or other production planning software.
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- bilingual: english required; spanish bilingual preferred.
