Supply chain Planner/ Buyer
general summary
as a supply chain planner/buyer in a manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for maintaining an uninterrupted flow of materials to support production. this role requires a proactive approach to planning, purchasing, and coordinating materials especially critical components to avoid delays, minimize downtime, and meet customer demand efficiently.
key duties/responsibilities:
required qualifications:
bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in supply chain planning or buying in a manufacturing setting.
strong erp/mrp system experience (e.g., sap, oracle, netsuite); ability to read and interpret boms and production orders.
skilled in managing critical parts, lead times, and high-priority orders under tight deadlines.
excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
knowledge of lean manufacturing, jit, and supply chain best practices.
