maintenance technician (full-time) $18/hr

a locally owned and operated hospitality property is seeking a skilled and adaptable maintenance technician to join our team. this is a hands-on role for someone with experience across multiple trades and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving hotel facilities.

key responsibilities:

• perform general maintenance, repairs, and upgrades throughout hotel property

• install and repair lvp flooring, tile, drywall, and trim

• troubleshoot and perform basic electrical and plumbing work

• assist with remodeling and restoration projects in guest rooms and common areas

• conduct preventive maintenance on systems, equipment, and guest rooms

• respond to service calls and maintenance requests in a timely manner

• maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• collaborate with the management team to prioritize projects and timelines

qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance or construction experience

• skilled in lvp flooring installation, painting, drywall, minor carpentry

• basic knowledge of residential/light commercial electrical and plumbing systems

• experience with remodeling or restoration preferred

• ability to troubleshoot, think independently, and manage multiple projects

• must be reliable, punctual, and professional in a guest-facing environment

• able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in tight spaces as needed

• valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
