the vice president, sales role is to develop a sales and business development strategy that focuses on growing micron's business, increasing its revenue, optimizing internal and external networks and resources to find new opportunities, and building our brand in the market.
key accountabilities: develops and executes sales programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and utilization or expansion of company manufacturing solutions and/or servicesidentify key markets segments and specific accounts to penetrate to balance the opportunity win cycle associated with fda compliant manufacturingresponsible to perform direct selling efforts as the salesperson responsible for identifying prospects and converting the new opportunities and/or new accounts into new businessdevelop outbound selling campaigns to identify and secure new accounts and new opportunitieswork with the micron leadership team to develop strategic plans to create new revenue opportunityutilize, lead and/or enhance micron's sales process and work with inside sales resources and outside sales rep to ensure they are in lock-step with our goalsensures cvms are in place for all accounts by gathering the pertinent information so that we prepare winning proposals that meet micron's margin expectationsensures winning proposals are prepared for manufacturing, tooling, and engineering services, on time, by working with micron internal resources and suppliersplan, prepare and deliver presentations to customers to drive our brand recognition in marketanalyze and make recommendations on pricing strategy for the organization to drive sales growth and preferred marginmust adhere to all company policies and to act as a role model in the adherence to policiesmust have a basic understanding of quality management systems related to iso 13485, cgmp 21 cfr part 820 complianceprepares sales activity reports including 0-3 year projections with tools like (hubspot)maintain micron sales funnel to track account activity statusmaintain awareness of competitors, expansions opportunities, customers, markets, and new industry developments, trends and standardsparticipate in and /or own marketing campaigns and generate marketing material such as presentations, brochures, and social media content etc.researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on, and the effects of competitive activity may be minimizedtravel locally, domestically, or internationally to communicate with existing and/or potential customers work remotely but come to the micron hq when needed for internal company or customer meetings - must have 7 or more years in a sales role in sales of fda plastic injection components and assembly services and/or orthopedic implants
- bachelor's degree in business administration - post graduate course work related to sales or industry is a plus
- existing contacts that will accelerate the sales cycle
- strong communication, interpersonal, public speaking, and leadership skills

- willingness and ability to travel to customer facilities
- attention to detail with strong problem solving skills
