we're currently seeking a yard supervisor to oversee daily yard operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure safe and efficient handling of materials and deliveries.
key responsibilities: - lead and supervise yard staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- load/unload materials using forklifts and other equipment
- maintain organized yard layout and accurate inventory
- coordinate deliveries and support dispatch/logistics operations
- enforce safety protocols and ensure equipment is operated correctly
- provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
requirements:
requirements: - minimum 2 years of experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction-related field
- proven team leadership or supervisory experience
- forklift certified or significant forklift operating experience
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to work approximately 50 hours per week (monday-friday or tuesday-saturday)
preferred qualifications (a major plus): - cdl (commercial driver's license)
- experience with delivery coordination or dispatch operations
