Our ads run on Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and in-app placements like PhonePe or GPay. The copy gets written, passed to a designer, and then it's the designer's call what to do with it.
That's the gap. And that's what we're hiring for.
We all can agree that users only click on ads that grab their attention or get them curious.
Now to ensure that our Ads grabs the users attention with a really strong hook, we want to hire someone who can pull off the following :
1. Ensure a good creative is a complete thought - where the words, the visual, the layout, and the font hierarchy are all one decision, not four separate ones.
2. Ensure that she/he can create a copy line that connects what the product does to the exact pain the user is sitting with and does it in 6 words, not 60
3. Tell the designer which word gets the big bold treatment, which one sits smaller, and why
4. Have a clear POV on where the text lives on the creative and where it doesn't
5. Suggest a visual that makes the copy land harder - not just something that "looks good"
Note : That someone will have real ownership in deciding how and what quality users are getting acquired.
