Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager Business Planning & Analysis

Location: Mumbai

Reports to: Managing Director

About the Role

This role supports the Managing Director by driving business planning, analytical reporting, performance benchmarking, and process improvement initiatives across the organization. The position requires strong analytical capability, commercial understanding, and excellent communication skills, along with proficiency in digital tools and business intelligence platforms.

Responsibilities

Business Planning & Strategy Support

• Develop and enhance the company's business planning and financial planning frameworks.
• Assist in formulating annual operating plans, rolling forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify and establish benchmarking parameters to compare company performance with industry peers.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Prepare and upgrade business, financial, and non financial performance dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
• Present insights and performance summaries to the Managing Director and the Board.
• Continuously improve internal reporting processes using digital and analytical tools.

Cross Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with business units and corporate functions to track key actions and ensure timely execution.
• Support senior management in establishing business controls and process efficiencies.

Technology, Analytics & Digital Enablement

• Work closely with the MDs office to evaluate and implement AI driven solutions for business optimization.
• Utilize Power BI, SAP, Dashboards, and other analytical tools for data visualization and decision support.
• Ensure accurate interpretation of financial standards (Ind AS and related regulatory norms).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE)
• MBA in Operations or Marketing
• Expert-level proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS and related financial standards

Required Skills

• 4-5+ years of experience in Business Planning, Analysis, Strategy, or related roles.
• Exposure to SAP, BI tools, dashboards, and AI-driven technologies.
