What You'll Actually Do (Day-to-Day)
Find & evaluate suppliers on 1688, Alibaba, IndiaMART, Made-in-China - for both new product launches and restocks of existing SKUs.
Own all procurement documentation - purchase orders, invoices, import/export paperwork, customs compliance, shipping docs.
Manage the full supply chain - from placing the order factory production tracking shipment booking last-mile delivery to our Delhi warehouse. You'll track every order until it's on our shelf.
Negotiate hard, build relationships - get the best MOQs, pricing, payment terms, and lead times. Maintain a supplier scorecard. Manage WeChat/WhatsApp communication with Chinese factories.
Run quality checks - review product samples, factory photos, and pre-shipment inspections. Flag issues before they become returns.
️ Help decide what we sell - work with the team on product selection, catalog gaps, and how products are visually presented on our websites (Shopify).
