About the Role:

Education Architect is a critical pillar within o9's global Education Services team. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating and delivering quality, targeted training for the entire o9 team as well as partner and customer end user training needs. Education Architect will report to the Training Manager, o9 Education Services and will work very closely with the other Learning Architects, and Instructional Designers to understand, create and deliver targeted training to a global team.

What you will do:

  • Assist in developing the training framework for o9 Platform.
  • Work with Product Development, Consulting Services SMEs and build courses that meet platform training requirements.
  • Assess workshop training requirements and draft targeted course agenda.
  • Exhibit passion for teaching and sharing knowledge to all attendees.
  • Conduct instructor led workshops for internal hires, partners and customers.
  • Work with Learning Architects and Instructional designers constantly for rebuilding course materials.
  • Coordinate deploying required assets and registration for workshop attendees prior to training.
  • Acts as liaison between Education Services and other reporting managers in Professional Services, R&D, Support for accessing training needs.
  • Capture and provide feedback about candidates on technical and functional skills/learning to respective reporting managers.

What you should have:

  • Previous experience in any planning systems is required.
  • Industry experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations, Retail, Demand Planning is highly preferred.
  • 2-4 years of prior Consulting or software implementation experience is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and impart domain expertise in different industries is required.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets and software (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets), document processing (Microsoft Word, Google Docs), presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint) is required.
  • Knowledge and training in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills in one or more languages like SQL, MDX, T-SQL or similar is optional but preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify and build partnerships with corporates, industry associations, and educational institutions for executive education programs.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle for executive education programs - from lead generation and client outreach to conversion and post-enrollment engagement.

What You'll Bring

Qualifications & Skills:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Business, Education, or related field.

The Role

The Customer Success Specialist will be working with existing JoVE customers (universities and research centers). This role will support the existing customers in the US region, including contacting science professors to demonstrate how JoVE video resources can help aid their pedagogy.

This role will require you to work during the EST Hours (6.30 PM to 2 30 AM IST).

Responsibilities:

  • Customer-facing role with a focus to set up meetings for curriculum consultation and increase usage at existing customers
  • Developing relationships with key decision makers (Head of Departments, Dean of Faculties, etc.) and teaching/research staff at Universities and Research Institutes by daily outreach (phone calls, 1:1 demo meetings, emails, etc)
  • Delivering product awareness within new and ongoing customer Universities and Research Institutes
  • Product presentations delivery and webinars organization at: (1) exhibits and conferences (2) University seminars and workshops (3) client onsite visits
  • Providing customer feedback to sales, product and marketing teams
  • Maintaining positive ongoing relationships with customer institutes to provide support and ensure client satisfaction and retention

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English
  • A Bachelor/Master's degree in life sciences
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in selling and servicing in the education/publishing market is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for remote relationship building
  • Ability to tell a compelling story in a short period of time
  • Possess excellent listening skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in networking by means of cold calling
  • Knowledge of STEM publishing preferred
