Syncopated Marketing is a growing email and SMS marketing agency. We work with D2C ecommerce brands across the US, Canada, and Europe, primarily on Klaviyo and Omnisend.

We currently work with 20+ brands across a wide spread of categories: supplements, peptides, healthcare, perfumes, balms, clothing, art, and outdoor gear. Several of our clients do over USD 1M in annual revenue.

We're a 12-person in-office team in Bhopal today. We're looking for a senior email marketer to own a portfolio of client accounts end-to-end: strategy, flows, campaigns, creative direction, and reporting.

Location: Bhopal, MP (100% in-office)

Experience: 4+ years in email marketing, with hands-on Klaviyo experience and a proven track record working with D2C ecommerce brands

You'll own a portfolio of 5 to 9 D2C brands and be responsible for everything that drives retention revenue for them. You won't be writing the copy or designing the emails yourself. You'll be the strategic and creative lead: setting the vision, briefing copywriters and designers, reviewing what comes back, and pushing for the right output until it lands.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS

We run a high-volume B2B e-commerce business with customers in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. Right now our automated communication is underbuilt. You will fix that. You'll map the entire customer journey — from first enquiry to post-delivery follow-up — and build the automation that keeps customers engaged, informed, and buying again. This is a technical-creative role: half plumber, half copywriter.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

– Build and manage all drip sequences across email (Klaviyo/Mailchimp), SMS, and WhatsApp (WABA/Interakt or similar)

– Map every stage of the customer journey and ensure no touchpoint goes unautomated

– Create flows for: new lead nurture, quote follow-up, post-purchase, review requests, re-engagement, and win-back

– Maintain list hygiene — segmentation, suppression, unsubscribe compliance across all channels

– Write or brief all copy for automated messages — tone must be sharp, human, and on-brand

– Report on open rates, CTR, conversion from automation, and unsubscribe rates weekly

– Work hand-in-glove with the Retention Marketing and Customer Success functions to align messaging

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

– 3+ years of hands-on experience building automation flows — not just scheduling broadcasts

– Proficiency in at least two of: Klaviyo, Mailchimp, WebEngage, MoEngage, Interakt, WAB

This role involves a mix of: - Day-to-day email operations - Basic to intermediate troubleshooting (L1/L2) - Log analysis on mail servers - Supporting and improving email delivery performance The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with mail logs, DNS configurations, and email protocols, while also handling user-level issues when required.

Key Responsibilities

Email Operations & Monitoring: - Monitor inbound and outbound email traffic - Troubleshoot delivery issues (delays, bounces, deferrals, spam filtering) - Track email performance and reputation Mail Server & Log Analysis: - Analyze mail logs (/var/log/maillog, /var/log/mail.log) - Work with Postfix queues - Debug SMTP issues - Use tools like grep, awk, sed, zgrep
