Job Description – Editor – BFSI (Digital)

Location: Mumbai

Role Summary – Full Time

We are looking for an editorial leader to establish and scale our BFSI Digital vertical . The role requires a strong blend of editorial expertise, industry relationships, and commercial acumen to build a credible financial content platform that drives audience engagement and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead the BFSI Digital editorial vertical from the ground up.
• Develop and execute the editorial strategy across Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, FinTech, Capital Markets, and Personal Finance.
• Create exclusive, high-impact content and thought leadership initiatives.
• Leverage industry relationships to source breaking news, exclusive stories, and strategic collaborations.
• Partner with the business team to support content-led revenue opportunities while maintaining editorial integrity.
• Drive audience growth through digital-first content, SEO, social media, and analytics.

Preferred Experience

• 9–17 years of experience in BFSI/Financial Journalism or Digital Media.
• Hands-on experience reporting on the BFSI sector with leading financial publications or digital media platforms.
• Strong, established network with senior leaders across banks, insurance companies

Times Network is hiring a Technology Journalist (English) for Times Now Tech in Noida (Film City). This is a work-from-office role for candidates with 2–5 years of experience in technology journalism. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the latest technology news, AI, gadgets, trends, policy developments and the digital ecosystem.

Key Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience covering technology news.

- Strong news sense and excellent research and fact-checking skills.

- Should be well aware of latest technology news, AI trends, gadgets, gaming and policy developments.

- Strong awareness of Google and social media trends.

- Be familiar with SEO and AEO best practices and digital publishing workflows.

- Basic understanding of CMS and digital publishing.

- Ability to meet daily deadlines and deliver targets in a fast-paced newsroom.

- Should be flexible with shifts and open to experiment and learn.

- Must take ownership of the role and drive daily traffic on the website.

- Ability to coordinate with the editorial team and contribute to content strategy.
