Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory and site tests for concrete, cement, aggregates, soil, bricks, blocks, and steel as per IS codes
• Perform cube testing, slump tests, sieve analysis, compaction tests, and moisture content tests
• Maintain proper sampling, testing, and documentation records
• Ensure calibration and upkeep of lab equipment and testing tools
• Coordinate with QA/QC Engineers and site teams for test planning and reporting
• Monitor material quality received at site and report non-conformities
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly test reports
• Follow safety guidelines and quality standards at all times
• Support audits and inspections related to quality control

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of construction material testing procedures
• Familiarity with IS codes and quality standards
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, reporting formats)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work independently at project sites
