WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will serve as a key member of the Global Footwear Manufacturing & Engineering team and will report directly to the Director of Footwear Manufacturing and Engineering. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organisation, including Consumer Creation, NXT, Sourcing, Chemical Engineering, Modernisation, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and the company’s Manufacturing Partners. This role will be based in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. A Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education or footwear school training and experience is required. Demonstrated proficiency in both verbal and written communication, including presentations, is necessary. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop standard manufacturing methods for aerospace mechanical and electrical system assembly and integration.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation as per AS9100 standards.
• Conduct time and motion studies on critical processes such as wiring harness, chassis integration, and system assembly.
• Collaborate with project, assembly integration, and manufacturing departments to streamline processes and testing methods.
• Support process improvements and layout planning.
• Participate in Kaizen and Lean projects to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Prepare work instructions and SOPs to help standardize manufacturing processes.

Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing backend semiconductor manufacturing processes, including wire bonding, flip chip assembly, integrated system packaging, and testing. This role is critical in ensuring high-yield, cost-effective, and scalable production in a high-volume OSAT environment. • Monitor and control process KPIs: yield, cycle time, throughput, and defect rates.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for yield excursions and quality issues.

2. New Product Introduction (NPI)

• Support NPI activities by coordinating with R&D and customer teams.
• Ensure smooth transition from engineering builds to mass production.
