About Role

The Technology Development QA (TD QA) Engineer governs the maturity, lifecycle status, and controlled release of PDK documentation and technology platforms within the semiconductor foundry. The role serves as the governance anchor and facilitator for the Document Change Review Board (DCRB), Technology Platform Status Change meetings, and Technology Category Review Board (TCRB). The TD QA Engineer ensures alignment between PDK maturity, platform lifecycle status (Standard / Control / Phase-Out), customer release permissions, and quality system compliance. This role acts as the single control point for customer-facing PDK releases and ensures all decisions are documented, traceable, and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and own Document Change Review Board (DCRB) meetings governing maturity revisions of PDK documents and specifications.

• Maintain revision history, approval records, decision logs, and action tracking for all controlled documents.

Position Overview:

The QA Lead will own and drive end-to-end quality engineering across web, mobile, and integration platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for shaping quality strategy, enabling scalable automation, and ensuring high-velocity, high-confidence delivery in a continuous delivery environment.

Working closely with engineering, product, and business teams, the QA Lead will champion testability, observability, and measurable quality outcomes—proactively identifying risks, eliminating bottlenecks, and improving overall product reliability and customer experience across distributed systems and multi-team platform environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Embed quality engineering practices across the SDLC, ensuring testability, automation, and early defect detection
• Partner with product owners to define clear, testable acceptance criteria
• Define and operationalize quality metrics (coverage, defect leakage, cycle time) to drive continuous improvement
• Lead test strategy across UI, API, integration, and data layers
