About the Role

Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement of components and subsystems for Defence-grade drones, unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), and simulators. The role demands hands-on familiarity with UAV components like Propulsion System ( Motor) , Power System, Control Systems Li-Ion battery , Power Brick, GPS,GPS Jamming & GPS Spoofing, Charger, Terrain Lidar, Camera Optical Zoom in Day with Thermal , AI Object Tracking Gimbal Camera, optics , electronics, antenna , communication modules , electronic sensors , embedded technologies, motion platforms, carbon fibres & composites.

Main Accountability:

• Ability to read and work from a BOM and technical specifications.
• Manage procurement as per project BOM (Bill of Materials), aligning material availability with weight, performance, and design specifications.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical abilities. Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and contracts with domestic and international suppliers. Understanding of INCOTERMS, import procedures, and Defence procurement norms is an advantage.
• Coordinate with R&D, Design, and Production teams to ensure component compatibility and timely delivery.
• Track purchase orders, monitor lead times for long-lead items (autopilots, LiDAR, batteries etc to prevent line stoppages.

Manager – BIS Compliance and Supply Chain, India will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Bureau of Indian Standards compliance and entire supply chain process from procurement to delivery.
