Are you fluent in Koyaka/Koyaga/Koya language? Iyuno is still hiring Freelance English to Koyaka/Koyaga/Koya Subtitle Translator!

As a Subtitle Translator, your mission is to translate and craft flawless translations from English content. You'll be responsible for:

Translation Mastery: Create localized Koyaka/Koyaga/Koya translations and review translations with precision.
Editing Excellence: Polishing translation to perfection.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring translation meets customer and company standards.

Qualifications:

Fluent in English (grammar, vocabulary, language register).
Native level in Koyaka/Koyaga/Koya (grammar and natural use of vocabulary/language register).
Cultural knowledge to translate to Koya naturally and accurately.
Previous experience in subtitle translation is preferred.

Summary Description

This role is responsible for supporting all aspects of the reversioning process, which includes translation and localisation of films, textbooks and online platforms, with a particular focus on materials translated into Spanish.

Essential Job Functions

Translate educational materials from English into Spanish with a high degree of accuracy, consistency, and consideration of contextual factors.
Review materials that have been translated from English to Spanish by other translators or machine translation.
Collaborate with other Spanish linguists to agree on style points, conventions and translations of key terms.
Check and verify matched segments using translation software, and identify segments that require translation.
QC PDF print files efficiently and accurately, with reference to existing style guides.
Other tasks related to revisioning such as captioning videos, creating transcripts, working in CMS to ensure all content is neatly and consistently formatted and properly structured
Perform other responsibilities within the scope of expertise
