About Catalyze
Catalyze is being built as a campus-to-corporate readiness platform that helps students, freshers, institutions and organisations bridge the gap between academic preparation and workplace performance. Our focus is practical readiness: communication, confidence, ownership, executive presence, interviews, first 90 days at work and people performance.
Why This Role Exists
Catalyze is now building its first college network across North India. We are looking for someone who can identify the right people in universities, connect with placement heads and academicians, manage the outreach engine, support content distribution, and help build a community around workplace readiness.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Build and maintain a high-quality database of colleges, universities, placement heads, deans, faculty coordinators, student placement committees and career services teams across North India.
Use LinkedIn, institution websites, public directories and manual research to identify relevant decision-makers and influencers.
Send thoughtful LinkedIn connection requests, follow-up messages and email outreach - without sounding like a spammer or salesperson.
Track all leads, conversations, follow-ups and outcomes in a CRM or Notion dashboard.
Help increase Catalyze visibility among academicians, placement teams and student leaders by ensuring the right people see our posts and content.
Support distribution of LinkedIn posts, newsletters, readiness resources, event invites and webinar announcements.
Coordinate student-facing webinars, college discovery calls, readiness sessions and introductory workshops.
Assist in building community conversations with students, placement committees and early-career professionals.
Prepare weekly reports on contacts added, connections accepted, conversations opened, calls booked and content performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Expected Outcomes:
What we are looking for:
1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, growth, partnerships, community building, college outreach, social media coordination or business development.
Strong comfort with LinkedIn research, outreach and professional communication.
Ability to write crisp, polite and customised messages.
Good understanding of colleges, placement cells, student communities and early-career audience behaviour.
Comfortable with tools like LinkedIn, Google Sheets, Notion, Canva, HubSpot/CRM, email and basic analytics.
Organised, persistent and detail-oriented - this role needs discipline more than noise.
Good written and spoken English. Hindi/Punjabi comfort will be a plus for North India outreach.
The Role is perfect for Someone Who:
Enjoys finding the right people and opening conversations.
Understands that good outreach is about relevance, not volume alone.
Can work with founders closely in a fast-moving early-stage environment.
Likes education, careers, student development, LinkedIn and digital growth.
Can take ownership without needing constant supervision.
The Role is not perfect for Someone Who:
Only wants to run generic social media posts and not do research/outreach.
Is uncomfortable with follow-ups, tracking, lists and discipline.
Sends copy-paste messages without understanding the person or institution.
Needs a large team or rigid structure to perform.
Key Success Matrics:
Suggested First 30 Days:
1. Build the first list of 100 North India institutions across Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan and UP.
2. Identify 3 key contacts per institution: placement/career head, dean/HOD, student placement representative.
3. Set up CRM/Notion tracker with all contact details, LinkedIn links, email IDs and outreach status.
4. Send daily targeted connection requests from the approved profile and track acceptance rate.
5. Support weekly Catalyze posts/polls by ensuring the right academic audience is engaging with them.
6. Book the first set of discovery conversations for readiness diagnostic sessions or college webinars.
Application Note:
Interested candidates should share their CV along with a short note on why they are excited to build a college network and digital outreach engine for Catalyze.
