Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer with at least 3 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites. Candidates with additional experience in Shopify development will be given preference. You will work on diverse projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites with responsive,
high-performance features.
Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client
requirements.
Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO.
Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress issues, including plugin and theme
conflicts.
Collaborate with designers to implement website designs and user
experiences.
Manage content updates, backups, and ensure site security.
Work on Shopify projects as needed, including theme customization and
basic store setup.
Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in WordPress
and Shopify development.
Qualifications and Skills
3+ years of proven experience in WordPress development.
Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Strong knowledge of custom WordPress themes and plugin development.
Familiarity with SEO principles and performance optimization.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Basic knowledge of Shopify development, including theme customization
and app integration, is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with
teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience with WooCommerce and other e-commerce platforms.
Knowledge of Shopify's Online Store 2.0 and Liquid templating language.
Familiarity with popular page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.
Knowledge of headless CMS setups is a bonus.
Basic understanding of analytics tools and conversion optimization
techniques.
