I want to keep it simple and short. DownDog Yoga is now 2 years old in India. We are successful due to only one reason - the culture of non-negotiable discipline, work ethics, integrity, honesty, human respect that every being live by at DownDog Yoga. Of course! working with us is not everyone's cup of tea. We are out-of-the box both in our delivery of Yoga teaching and the way we interact with each other and our members.

What we look for and we are very firm in that:

1. Absolute honesty in your teaching - You cannot work here, if you think you can lie in your teaching as members do not know. The fact is: we teach Yoga and there should be no dishonesty in Yoga teaching.
2. Unflinching work ethics - this is not class-based, 9-5 job. Here you choose to work voluntarily, to make difference in the community through your love for Yoga. You are always working towards creating something new, which can make our members lives calmer and healthier.
3. No work should be beneath you. This is not any work/business. This is Yoga. if opening the door and offering a tea to a member is against your work ethics, DownDog is not the place for you.

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Reformer Pilates Instructor based in Lucknow with a strong background in Yoga. The selected candidate will undergo structured in-house training on Reformer Pilates and, after successful completion, will be responsible for independently conducting client sessions.

A yoga foundation is essentia l to ensure a smooth transition into becoming proficient in Pilates, particularly for understanding body alignment, breath control, flexibility, and safe movement patterns.

Key responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group Reformer Pilates sessions, ensuring safe and effective use of equipment, customising workouts based on individual client needs, maintaining a professional and motivating training environment, and tracking client progress with consistent feedback.

Qualifications

• Certified Yoga Instructor with solid teaching experience
• Strong interest in transitioning into Reformer Pilates and building a long-term career in this domain
