Lead Analyst - Credit Pricing & Analytics

The Role

We are looking for a Lead Analyst to join our Credit Pricing & Analytics team in Wilmington, DE. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and drive significant business results through optimization of our credit risk underwriting and pricing strategies. These strategies include approval/decline, loan amount assignment, term, pricing, and risk appetite framework optimization to drive healthy revenue growth, loss mitigation, and streamlining of processes in support of better profitability and healthy lending portfolio.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Working with various partners the role will have responsibilities of reporting, strategy implementation, strategy validation and ad-hoc analyses including customer segmentation, competitive analysis, sensitivity analysis and modeling. This individual will expand their competencies and grow their business and industry acumen, as well as demonstrate the ability to work on complex processes or projects across the end-to-end project cycle. They will gain knowledge to suggest new answers to old questions, develop insights and push the traditional boundaries of the lending industry.

  • Design, recommend, document, and execute consumer credit underwriting and pricing strategies via extracting and analyzing requisite historical customer performance data from multiple disparate systems.

  • Utilize data query tools (i.e., R, SAS, SQL, MATLAB, Python) and decision tree analytical software to develop, test and execute new strategies.

  • Leverage traditional regression model and machine learning algorithm to understand the key drivers and estimate customer behaviors by different strategy treatment.

  • Drive profitable business growth via developing strategy optimization framework with full credit-cycle view.

  • Implement Quality Control processes to ensure data accuracy.

  • Continually enhance existing processes and reporting through automation, quality control, presentation and insights.

  • Effectively summarize and present results and insights to management.

Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor Degree (Graduate Preferred) in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science and 4+ years of relevant analytical experience.

  • Strong SQL, SAS and Excel skills required; experience with multiple types of relational databases, BI tools/platforms, and/or additional programming languages is a plus

  • 4+ years of experience in a complex, data-driven problem solving environment

  • Innovative and capable of developing a highly analytical approach to solving problems

  • Lending or consumer finance industry experience preferred

The Digital Analytics & Experimentation Manager will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making through rigorous analysis and experimentation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital analytics and experimentation strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of digital data to inform business decisions.
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments to improve digital experiences and marketing strategies.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital or product analytics, experimentation, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager), statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SQL), and A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO) as well as data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data interpretation.
  • Knowledge of Marketing principles, A/B testing, and user behavior tracking.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey data-driven insights to stakeholders.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.

Key Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of the Digital Analytics Lead, reporting to the Head of Digital Product, include:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Business Intelligence to identify unique insights and solve complex business challenges using a variety of data sources.

  • Provide strategic thought-leadership inside this organization, and with partner organizations in the enterprise, on approaches to best-practices in Business Intelligence.

  • Provide ongoing data, analysis, and insights into the cross-functional product development team with the objective of optimizing sales performance and improving member experience.

  • Build and present story-driven presentations based on analytics.

  • Create dashboards, primarily in the Adobe Experience Platform and Excel, that track progress against digital channel sales and related targets (for example, funnel conversion rate, bounce rate, etc.).

  • Lead the relationship with Engineering partners related to ensuring digital tagging and instrumentation is planned for, such that digital channel analytics and reporting are happening as planned.

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences and business outcomes.

  • Own multiple projects, activities, and processes while collaborating with adjacent business intelligence and data science teams to drive digital reporting strategy and outcomes.

  • Manage and prioritize requests from team members and cross functional partners and set realistic expectations.

  • Dig beneath the surface of a problem to ascertain the "Why" in the backend data, uncover the true reasons data patterns and skews may be showing up, and convert those findings into clearly understandable, data-backed recommendations, to influence future digital experience strategies.

How do we do this? Data - lots of data. We scour a vast array of DataWarehouse tables including, offer-level evaluations, historical and projected sales and profitability, vendor benchmarking, and heuristics to optimize Amazon's profitability.

As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will lead a team of engineers and analysts to empower our Finance partners through streamlined and scalable reporting mechanisms. You will set the vision and lead the expansion of an internal automation program to connect our customers with the business critical data they require. This includes building the infrastructure for regular reporting on business performance, writing the logic for program-level opportunity valuation, and deep diving the assumptions behind each program to test our initial hypotheses and assumptions. You will leverage the data to provide key data-driven insights, enable new opportunities, and innovate on behalf of our business customers. Your responsibilities will include:

Owning the core reporting infrastructure and ensuring accuracy, integrity, and reliability

Generating actionable insights through the development of metrics, dashboards and deep dive analyses

Serving as a technical, business-metrics specialist and insight provider in the organization

Basic Qualifications

Manager, Marketing Analytics & Forecasting

The Dow Jones Marketing team is looking for a strategic and analytically strong Manager, Marketing Analytics and Forecasting with deep expertise in forecasting and financial scenario planning. In this role, you will build scenario planning tools that predict how changes in marketing strategy and budget allocation impact key business outcomes- including order volume and revenue, both in the short and long term. You will work cross-functionally with Finance, Strategy, and Performance Marketing teams to deliver actionable insights and help shape our go-to-market strategy. This role reports to the Director of Marketing Analytics and is critical to supporting executive decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain tools to forecast order volume, revenue, and marketing-driven performance.

  • Lead financial scenario planning efforts to quantify the impact of strategy shifts (e.g., channel mix, campaign timing, spend changes) on business outcomes.

  • Partner with Finance, Strategy, and Marketing to align forecasting inputs with overall business planning cycles and goals.

  • Create dynamic financial models that reflect different assumptions, time horizons, and business scenarios (e.g., best/worst case).

  • Analyze historical performance to identify key drivers of revenue and conversion across channels and customer segments.

  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, data-driven narrative.

  • Help design and implement frameworks for long-term revenue planning that integrate marketing and business strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative field.

  • 7+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics focused on the Media Industry, FP&A, or business analytics, with a strong focus on forecasting and financial modeling.

  • Demonstrated experience building and managing scenario planning models tied to revenue and orders.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and statistical tools (e.g., Python, R).

  • Deep understanding of marketing funnel metrics and how they tie into financial outcomes.

  • Strong communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

Post-Rollout:
