Influencer Marketing Intern

Company Looking for a hands-on opportunity to develop an influencer community within the beauty industry? dpHUE is an award-winning haircare and hair color brand designed to give you your shiniest, healthiest HUE between color applications. We are looking for social media savvy people who will help discover new microinfluencers for the brand. This involves organic seeding to boost awareness and trial with our top products. Responsibilities
  • Finding and starting a relationship with microinfluencers consistent with brand DNA
  • Working with warehouse to manage shipment of product to influencers
  • Monitoring for potential posts and continuing dialogue
  • Advising brand team on social trends such as beauty hot topics, cultural trends to jump on, and up-and-coming influencers
Duration and Timing Part-time: 20 hrs / week This is a paid internship Duration up to 3 months Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok and the influencer landscape.

  • Builds and maintains talent contact database

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Expert understanding of Excel (advanced reporting), PC Skills, including MS Office, and MS Outlook, and Social Media, including Instagram and TikTok
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to see effects of decision prior to implementing
  • Passionate about fashion, social media, & pop culture
  • Able to prioritize work effectively while juggling multiple tasks

The anticipated salary range for this position, at the time of posting, is $75,000 - $100,000. Job Overview The Affiliate Influencer Marketing Associate will be responsible for the overarching strategy and management of affiliate influencer programing across North American Affiliate Subnetworks in partnership with the Director of Influencer & Affiliate Influencer Marketing. The Associate will have 7+ years of proven success in developing and executing high-impact influencer affiliate campaigns that directly tie back to overall marketing strategies. What You Will Do Lead the development and execution of the North American affiliate subnetwork influencer marketing strategy to drive revenue and brand consideration. In partnership with Director and agency, manage and optimize the North American affiliate subnetwork influencer budget, ensuring effective allocation across brand priorities, campaigns, and partners. Oversee the planning of subnetwork campaigns, negotiate contracts and rates, and establish performance metrics to ensure maximum ROI. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Social Strategy, Creator Affiliate, Brand Influencer, Paid Media, Marketing Strategy) to align subnetwork influencer strategies with broader company initiatives. Develop and maintain relationships with top-tier subnetworks, and agency partners to ensure a steady pipeline of relevant talent and first to market opportunities. Skills You Will Need 7+ years of experience in building and managing retail creator affiliate programs, specifically with North American Influencer subnetworks, with a strong understanding of affiliate marketing, creator partnerships, and brand ambassador programs. Proven track record of scaling creator networks programs, optimizing KPIs, and managing program budgets. Strong experience in managing external agencies and working with cross-functional teams. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to report on campaign performance, analyze data, and drive actionable insights. Deep understanding of the retail and e-commerce landscape, including trends and best practices in affiliate and influencer marketing. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and lead across departments.
