MORTGAGE LOAN UNDERWRITER II

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The role of the Underwriter II is to evaluate the credit risk against company standards and to determine the borrower's ability to repay a residential mortgage. The Underwriter II analyzes and interprets more complex financial and non-financial data decisioning the requests with the goal of achieving the optimal quality asset for the bank while satisfying the needs of borrower. The Underwriter II is also responsible for LLCs along with other complex borrower types. The Underwriter works within established lending authorities and guidelines, with complex or unusual situations escalated to the next highest authority level for resolution.

What you will do

  • Reviews the loan package received to ensure completeness verifying that all supporting documents are included to make a credit decision per established policies

  • Identifies issues and recommends appropriate resolution within policy service level agreements

  • Analyzes and determines the financial capacity of the borrower's ability to repay:

  • Performs credit analysis, financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, liquidity qualification and payment calculation spreads

  • Reviews for stability of residency and employment

  • Verifies income per established policy

  • Identifies any exceptions to current policies

  • Documents a reasonable conclusion mitigating any identified risks supporting the request will be repaid

  • Accurately sets and clears conditions

  • Interacts with RLC and Processor throughout the life cycle of the loan, providing information, updates and assistance as required.

  • Updates System(s) with pertinent information and appropriate data as required

  • Renders a decision within his/her lending authority. If deal is outside of lending authority, provides a recommended decision and submits for appropriate level signing authority

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with state and federal lending regulations (i.e., Ability to Repay (ATR), RESPA, Reg B, Reg O, Reg Z, Fair Lending, etc.).

Skills and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Familiarity with FNMA/FHLMC guidelines.

DRG Appeals Writer

Description: RESPONSIBLE FOR: The individual in this position on behalf of the entire Piedmont System will be responsible for managing the administrative appeal of reimbursement claims denied by Medicare or Medicaid on the grounds that the medical coding was incorrect. These duties involve coordination of activities with the managers of coding at each of the Piedmont affiliated hospitals and physician practices as well as the Senior Director of Government Appeals. The incumbent must maintain a high level of understanding of DRGs and MS/DRGs. ICD-9-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting, American Hospital Association Coding Clinic guidelines, federal guidelines for coding Medicare inpatient records, state guidelines for coding Medicaid records, Utilization Review (UR) regulations and Medicare guidelines regarding medical necessity, inpatient, outpatient and observation. In the context of managing the appeals, the incumbent will be responsible for resolving differences of opinions among coders as to the most appropriate code. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing the coding appeals; performing a detailed review, analysis and extraction of clinical and coding information from patient medical records and drafting effective narratives for Medicare and Medicaid appeals briefs in support of denied cases throughout appeals at all levels of the government appeals process. In addition, the incumbent will be qualified and available to testify in appeal hearing before an administrative law judge as an expert in medical coding. REMOTE/WORK FROM HOME SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY, FLEXIBLE HOURS Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree required. In lieu of degree, six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Five (5) years of inpatient coding experience and of DRG-MS/DRG auditing experience in a healthcare setting. Experienced medical record/DRG coder/auditor with a working knowledge of ICD-10 guidelines, case management, government and contracted payers. Must be experienced in clinical, coding and patient financial services software such as 3-M Encoder, SCM / Quest, STAR, EPIC, Client Tracking, and I-Suites. (If no degree, a total of eleven (11) years of experience required). MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: None. WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The role of the Underwriter III is to evaluate the credit risk against company standards and to determine the borrower's ability to repay a residential mortgage. The Underwriter III analyzes and interprets the most complex financial and non-financial data decisioning the requests with the goal of achieving the optimal quality asset for the bank while satisfying the needs of borrower. The Underwriter III is also responsible for LLCs along with other complex borrower types. What you will do

  • Reviews the loan package received to ensure completeness verifying that all supporting documents are included to make a credit decision per established policies

  • Identifies issues and recommends appropriate resolution within policy service level agreements

Skills and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Economics or related discipline with 10 or more years of experience in a mortgage banking environment required

  • Familiar with FNMA/FHLMC guidelines

  • Computer literate with experience using Microsoft applications with mortgage industry standard software, preferably InterLink E3 or NetOxygen/Gallagher.

  • Superior ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form

To be successful in this position, we require the following:

Job Summary:

  • As a ServiceNow Trainer and Technical Writer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs and end-user documentation to support ServiceNow platform implementations.
  • You will play a critical role in ensuring that ServiceNow users have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize the platform, and that end-user documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ServiceNow training programs for end-users, including curriculum development, training materials, and delivery methods.
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars to educate end-users on ServiceNow functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback, and make necessary adjustments to training programs as needed.
  • Develop and maintain end-user documentation, including user guides, system documentation, and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, technical teams, and stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy of end-user documentation.
  • Stay updated on ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and best practices to ensure relevance of the training programs and end-user documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or a minimum of 3 years of experience in ServiceNow training or documentation development.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform features, functionality, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs, including curriculum development and training materials creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in end-user documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in end-user communications and technical writing, including creating user guides, system documentation, and knowledge base articles.
  • Experience in creating end-user communications and other outreach artifacts, such as email communications informing users of upcoming releases, internal social media posts, and infographics.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and ServiceNow ITSM modules is preferred.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • This is a contract position. Some travel may be required to conduct training sessions at different locations. The successful candidate will have a passion for training, strong end-user documentation writing skills, and a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform.

MORTGAGE LOAN UNDERWRITER SENIOR

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The role of the Underwriter III is to evaluate the credit risk against company standards and to determine the borrower's ability to repay a residential mortgage. The Underwriter III analyzes and interprets the most complex financial and non-financial data decisioning the requests with the goal of achieving the optimal quality asset for the bank while satisfying the needs of borrower. The Underwriter III is also responsible for LLCs along with other complex borrower types. The Underwriter III works within established lending authorities and guidelines, with complex or unusual situations escalated to the next highest authority level for resolution. This includes mentoring and training of Underwriters I and II including second level reviews.

What you will do

  • Reviews the loan package received to ensure completeness verifying that all supporting documents are included to make a credit decision per established policies

  • Identifies issues and recommends appropriate resolution within policy service level agreements

  • Analyzes and determines the financial capacity of the borrower's ability to repay:

  • Performs credit analysis, financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, liquidity qualification and payment calculation spreads

  • Reviews for stability of residency and employment

  • Verifies income per established policy

  • Identifies any exceptions to current policies

  • Documents a reasonable conclusion mitigating any identified risks supporting the request will be repaid

  • Accurately sets and clears conditions

  • Interacts with RLC and Processor throughout the life cycle of the loan, providing information, updates and assistance as required

  • Updates System(s) with pertinent information and appropriate data as required

  • Renders a decision within his/her lending authority. If deal is outside of lending authority, provides a recommended decision and submits for appropriate level signing authority

Must-Have

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as an Underwriter in a financial services or mortgage banking environment required.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in jumbo and super jumbo underwriting to investor or organization's guidelines required

  • Minimum 7 years of experience with state and federal lending regulations (i.e., Ability to Repay (ATR), RESPA, Reg B, Reg O, Reg Z, Fair Lending, etc.).

Skills and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Economics or related discipline with 10 or more years of experience in a mortgage banking environment required

  • Familiar with FNMA/FHLMC guidelines

  • Computer literate with experience using Microsoft applications with mortgage industry standard software, preferably InterLink E3 or NetOxygen/Gallagher.

  • Superior ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form

  • Strong time management skills to plan and organize a high daily loan volume

  • Strong ability to be very detail oriented

  • Must be a team player and work constructively with their fellow colleagues

  • Specific knowledge and exposure to funding and loan documentation to resolve more complex situations such as occur with LLC's, irrevocable trusts, and Co-operatives

Compensation

Starting base salary: $41.83 - $66.81 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.

POSITION SUMMARY: TXM Customer Service Representative will be primarily responsible for interpreting the customer's concerns so the Service Technicians can perform the necessary repairs and then relays the resulting work done to the customer in understandable terms. The TXM Service Advisor will ensure the highest level of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction and assist the customer in scheduling routine maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Greet customers upon arrival in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner at their vehicle.
  • Acknowledge customers who are waiting. Utilize porter if necessary.
  • Prepare for scheduled customers i.e.: vehicle history, what the appointment is scheduled for, etc.
  • Check the vehicle repair history.
  • Perform walk around and inspect all vehicles for potential body, glass and paintless dent repairs.
  • Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of scheduled maintenance.
  • Advise customers of recommended maintenance needed based on time and mileage
  • Develop repair orders by fully documenting customer information and vehicle maintenance, and mileage.
  • All service needs shall be identified at the vehicle, accurately recorded on the repair order and verified with the customer to facilitate the maintenance of all items on each visit.
  • Give customer time of repair completion and obtain customer's signature on ALL repair orders
  • Keep customers updated on status changes (cost, time or additional recommendations, reviewing MPI on time.)
  • Communicate with TXM Technicians and dispatch regarding customer and company vehicle repairs to service our customers efficiently and effectively.
  • Set up claims for customer's service contracts.
  • Review final invoice with customer during active delivery. Ensure that all documents are accounted for and that all repair orders are closed within a thirty (30) day work period.
  • Discuss surveys with every customer and offer to schedule next service appointments.
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index rating in accordance with department standards.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

This is hourly PLUS commission pay. $40,000-$65000/year average
