The Sr. Engineer, Technical Applications is part of PSA's Technical Operations Division of the PSA Tech Services Center. This role will leverage data insights to drive maintenance efficiency, reliability, and innovative solutions across the entire data landscape.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Understand the entire data landscape within PSA, including technical operational metrics and aircraft data landscapes
  • Work directly with the PSA Predictive Engineer to ensure data insights from aircraft data are efficiently translated to appropriate maintenance actions
  • Collaborate with PSA Reliability Engineering to develop applications that effectively identify and visualize reliability trends
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to support business decisions
  • Other duties as assigned by Tech Services leadership
  • Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time, as needed, to the PSA Headquarters

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 4 years of experience in data analysis, engineering, or a related field
  • FAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience working in the aviation industry
  • Familiarity with MRO systems and predictive maintenance
  • Certification in data science or a related field (e.g. Certified Data Scientist)

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

What you will be doing at Evalueserve-

  • Perform credit analysis and help with investment recommendations this will include conducting fundamental credit research on corporate issuers, sovereigns, and other credit products across various industries and regions, with a focus on the APAC region
  • Create and maintain Excel-based financial models that forecast and benchmark companies on financial and operating metrics using industry research, capital structure analysis, peer comparison, and recovery analysis
  • Incorporate acquisition / merger announcements (merger models) or long-term business plan projections in existing models of portfolio companies
  • Review credit agreements and bond indentures and incorporate them in models for covenant testing
  • Publish quarterly and annual write-ups on portfolio companies, including investment recommendations based on past trends and financial model-based projections

What we are looking for-

  • MBA / CA with 4+ years of experience in credit research / desk analyst role
  • Excellent understanding of credit research / analysis concepts
  • Experience in financial modeling and writing credit reports (preferable)
  • Understanding of databases like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills; experience in handling client calls and other client communication
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to develop high-quality deliverables
