Customer Experience Senior Data Analyst

Job Description:

The Customer Experience Data Analyst role exists to build an infrastructure for structured customer experience insights using industry standard tools like Power BI, AWS connectors, SAP, Salesforce & Genesys data lakes or platforms. The candidate will ensure accurate representations of data which will be used for strategic business reviews and organizational decision making.

This will be a 13/5 support role which would require a flexible schedule in terms of working hours & working days supporting the US time zone primarily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture data from internal systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, BI tools) and external sources

  • Validate and clean data to ensure accuracy and consistency before analysis and reporting

  • Build, develop, and maintain regular business reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly)

  • Automate reporting processes using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python

  • Analyse business performance against KPIs, targets, and historical trends

  • Deliver actionable insights to support strategic decision-making

  • Collaborate with departments like finance, sales, marketing, and operations to understand reporting needs

  • Present findings and reports in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical collaborators

  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards for real-time performance monitoring

  • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and aligned with business requirements

  • Ensure reports enforce to data privacy, regulatory, and governance policies.

  • Maintain documentation of reporting processes and data sources

  • Find opportunities to improve reporting processes and tools

  • Implement practices in data visualization and reporting standards

  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests and perform quick turnaround analyses to support business needs

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, reporting, or a related analytical role

  • Demonstrable ability to analyse large datasets, spot trends, and derive insights

  • Hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau

  • Solid skills in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, Power Query)

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases

  • Experience working with data warehouses or structured databases is often expected

  • Understanding of business processes and KPIs, preferably in areas like finance, sales, marketing, or operations

  • Ability to translate business needs into reporting requirements

  • Experience working with multi-functional teams and presenting data to non-technical collaborators

  • Exposure to process automation or scripting tools (e.g., Python, VBA) is a plus

  • Team-oriented approach and Strong problem-solving skills

  • Strong in data manipulation, visualization, and data storytelling

  • Proven knowledge of MS Excel, SQL, and one or more BI/visualization tools

  • Experience with data integration tools is helpful

  • Superb attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • Experience working or supporting the retail or convenience store sectors

  • Understanding of store operations, point-of-sale (POS) systems, supply chain, and inventory turnover

  • Experience generating reports that support store performance, promotional efficiency, and product/category performance

  • Ability to analyze sales trends across regions, store formats, or customer segments

  • Comfortable working in time-sensitive, high-volume, and multifaceted environments

  • Able to deliver quick-turnaround insights during promotions, seasonal peaks, or executive requests

Job Overview

Supports the design, implementation, and management of the program evaluation system with a focus on data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development in Smartsheet for accreditation readiness. Collaborates closely with the Program Coordinator and Program Manager to ensure integrated support for accreditation, CQI, and program performance monitoring.

Essential Functions
    Design, implement, and maintain the program evaluation system to ensure LCME compliance.Conduct data analysis and prepare reports for accreditation and program evaluation.Develop and manage dashboards using Smartsheet for tracking quality indicators and outcomes.Support evaluation tool design for curriculum-wide assessment.Collaborate on data integration across accreditation, CQI, and student performance metrics.Assist with LCME self-study preparation and documentation.
Required Education
    Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
    Two (2) years of business and/or ERP related experience.Basic knowledge of systems and database administration.
Additional Qualifications Considered
    Master's degree in program evaluation, statistics, educational research, or related field.Experience with data analysis tools (SPSS, R, Excel) and Smartsheet.Strong communication and organizational skills.Experience in higher/medical education.Familiarity with LCME accreditation standards.
