What you will deliver

Wireframes & prototypes: Bring ideas to life by creating wireframes and prototypes that showcase the product's structure, functionality, and flow. You'll iterate quickly to find the best solutions before development.

Inclusive user experiences: Champion accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that our designs meet or exceed global accessibility standards (WCAG). Implement strategies to enhance user experiences for all, with a focus on individuals with disabilities creating innovative, user-centred solutions that prioritise inclusion and accessibility at every stage.

User Experience (UX) design: Craft intuitive and seamless user experiences, ensuring the product is easy to use, accessible, and meets user needs by applying established UX principles and design standards.

User Interface (UI) design: Design the visual elements of the product, including typography, color schemes, icons, and layout, ensuring the design is visually appealing and aligns with brand guidelines.

Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with product and project managers, developers, and other teams to turn ideas into reality, ensuring designs are technically feasible and align with business objectives.

Usability testing: Test and refine your designs through usability sessions, gathering feedback to deliver intuitive and seamless user experiences.

Documentation & guidelines: Maintain detailed design documentation to ensure transparency and consistency across projects and teams, ensuring all design decisions and processes are well-documented for future reference.

What you'll need to be successful (experience and qualifications)
  • A Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field - or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading Product Design teams or similar role.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, including UX and UI projects.
  • Expertise in tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A deep understanding of UX/UI principles, accessibility standards, applying established UX principles and design standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, thriving in a team environment.
  • A passion for creating accessible, user-first designs.

Preferred skills and experience

  • Hands-on experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile or other iterative design and development methodologies.
  • A commitment to accessibility, with knowledge of WCAG or other accessibility frameworks.

The position requires a strong understanding of self-insured healthcare plans, regulatory compliance, and claims adjudication processes. As a senior member of the team, this individual will play a key role in ensuring that both the plan documents and the plans within the system are aligned with regulatory standards and client specifications. The Senior Benefits Plan Designer & Builder will work closely with internal teams, including account managers, implementation teams, brokers, and client representatives, to ensure that plan documents and system builds are both accurate and compliant with federal regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA). The position requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to navigate complex regulatory environments and optimize plan functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan Documentation:

  • Develop, review, and maintain Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs), Summaries of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs), and other benefit documents for self-insured medical, dental, vision, HRA, and specialty benefit plans.
  • Interpret and apply federal regulations such as ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA to ensure plan documents meet compliance standards.
  • Lead the review and amendment of plan documents, collaborating with internal teams, account managers, brokers, and client representatives.
  • Maintain an electronic library of plan documents, ensuring version control, consistency, and compliance with company policies.
  • Stay current with evolving legislation to proactively update documents as required.

Plan Build and System Maintenance:

  • Build and configure medical, dental, vision, HRA, and other benefit plans in the claims adjudication system.
  • Collaborate with internal implementation teams, account managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accurate setup of new plans and updates to existing plans.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve plan build issues or errors in the claims adjudication system to ensure proper claim processing.
  • Assist with the implementation of point solutions, new vendors, and claims processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Optimize auto-adjudication processes to improve claims auto adjudication rates and reduce manual intervention.
  • Assist in system release testing to ensure performance of plan build and adjudication for system upgrades
  • Available to work on special projects, and upgrades which may occur over weekends.

Regulatory Compliance and Analysis:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on self-insured plan regulations and ensure plans meet both regulatory and operational standards.
  • Analyze plan design changes and recommend improvements to ensure alignment with compliance standards and client requirements.
  • Conduct ongoing research on evolving healthcare regulations and adjust documents and plan builds accordingly.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including account managers, implementation teams, and stop-loss carriers, to ensure seamless integration of plan design and system build components.
  • Provide guidance to junior staff and internal teams on the proper application of plan design principles and system builds.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in benefit plan documentation, system plan building, or self-insured plan administration.
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare plan documents and self-insured industry practices, including regulatory compliance requirements (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA).
  • Strong technical proficiency in claims adjudication systems and plan build processes.
  • Experience working with third-party administrators (TPAs), stop-loss carriers, and brokers is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and handle complex plan design and system build tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with document management and claims adjudication systems.

General Scope: Designs and develops layouts for mechanical systems by performing the following duties:

Position Summary:

• Involved in the entire process, from sketching an idea through the manufacturing and testing of the finished product.

• Throughout development, the mechanical designer works with design engineers to identify any areas of the design that need to be altered or improved.

• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures used in the field of mechanical equipment.

• Analyzes product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures used in the field of heavy equipment design and manufacturing.

• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

• Will direct and lead the work of others.

• Confers with the design engineering personnel and prepares design modifications as required.

• Prepares sketches for Mechanical drafters to produce subassemblies or finished or finished details.

• Works under general supervision.

• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Education:

Require an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school with a strong emphasis on Mechanical Design and 5-8 years of experience in the field of heavy equipment machinery design.

Knowledge: Incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

Knowledge of Mechanical Design.

Skills: Incumbent must demonstrate or participate in internal/external training programs to obtain the following skills:

• Knowledge of the current ISO and ANSI (Y14) standards.

• Working knowledge of the metric system and geometric dimensioning and tolerance.

• Familiar with weldments, and machining operation.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

• Motivated and self-starter with the ability to work under deadlines.

• Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as Calculus and modern Algebra.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Architectural Designer

POSITION SUMMARY

At Cyntergy, you'll be involved in all aspects of architectural design and documentation, working within a multi-discipline office of architects and engineers. This role involves architectural production work, including BIM modeling, detailing, and the creation of project construction documents. You'll also engage with clients and occasionally travel to project sites for scoping existing conditions or observing construction.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Architectural Designer, you will assist a Lead Architect with a variety of duties, such as creating computer models, drafting, conducting code research, and applying process knowledge as part of a client's program. You'll work within an integrated team environment, coordinating with Cyntergy's in-house engineers and facilitating workflow between different disciplines.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture preferred

  • Two to ten years' experience

  • Experience in architectural document production

  • Proficiency in Autodesk REVIT

  • Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to identify and correctly respond to project needs

  • Capability to build and maintain relationships with team members

  • Commitment to maintaining a positive and professional work environment
