As a Lab Technician at MercyOne Genesis, you will: Perform moderate and high complexity testing in some or all areas of the Laboratory, including Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Serology, and Blood Bank. Laboratory Technologist key responsibilities include proper patient and specimen identification, adherence to testing policies and procedures, instrument use and troubleshooting, and computer functions. Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are currently seeking an experienced Per Diem Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our Cell Marker Laboratory.

Role Overview:

• Understand and maintain regulatory requirements.

• Perform flow cytometry data analysis with minimal assistance/supervision.

• Work closely with Administration and MSK laboratory management to ensure that the laboratory is meeting the needs of the Center.
• Actively participate in QC, QA, Safety and performance improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (Medical Technology, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences) required
• 4+ years Flow Cytometry Data Analysis required.
• New York State Clinical Laboratory License required
• ASCP certification preferred

Core Skills

• Flow Cytometry Data Analysis
• An experienced Clinical Lab Technologist who is a self-starter and enjoys working independently.

Additional Information:

• Schedule: Variable Monday -Saturday 7am-7pm
• Cell Marker lab
• Report to: Supervisor, Laboratory Medicine

Pay Range: $57.00/hr.
