Principal Product Manager - Technical

As the Director, Transfer Solution Product Architect within the Mastercard Send product team, you will be the subject matter expert for money movement solutions & product capabilities. You will be the design authority for all development and contribute to innovation, leading the development from idea to implementation, including building working prototypes. You will have the opportunity to guide and conceive new platform standards and feature development. • Provide subject matter expertise to product and engineering teams • Assess feasibility and propose new money movement solutions and capabilities • Design and develop working product prototypes • Support product team to define relevant Epics, Features and Stories • Help drive a strategic roadmap for transfer solution. All About You • Be a confident leader and domain expert in money movement domain. • Familiarity of tech stack like Java, RDBMS, SQL, Messaging, Middleware, Event Driven Architecture including frameworks like Kafka, Axon etc. • Take the time to fully learn the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of the systems supporting your platform products. • Understands and can explain the business context and the associated customer use cases. • Have a strong technical background to enable collaboration across multiple technical teams driving solutions which match the platforms architecture. • Proven ability to analyze software requirements, model business processes/workflows, and align software requirements to business strategy. • Demonstrated ability to understand complex systems and communicate effectively with the technical teams. • Possess strong written and oral communication skills (English language). • Able to negotiate requirements and build effective relationships with key stakeholders. • Ability to balance work across multiple projects/work streams while still meeting deadlines. • Knowledge and skills using product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Aha!, etc.).

Job Summary Mastercard is seeking a strategic and technically adept Principal Product Manager to join the AIDPE group within Services. This role is pivotal in driving technology transformation initiatives by integrating cross-functional expertise across Architecture, Engineering, Technical Program Management, and Finance. The ideal candidate will define vision, establish OKRs, and develop actionable roadmaps that align with Mastercard's mission to power an inclusive, digital economy. Key Responsibilities • Lead strategic technology transformation business cases in collaboration with Architecture, Engineering, TPMs, and Finance. • Facilitate OKR definition workshops and manage the full OKR lifecycle using Aha! • Conduct innovation sessions aligned to OKRs; apply prioritization frameworks and develop solution whitepapers. • Create and manage Aha! Initiatives and EPICs to deliver iteratively against OKRs. • Collaborate with Engineering PMTs for Epic elaboration, feature breakdown, and roadmap refinement. • Run Epic refinement sessions and support PI slotting and project planning. • Monitor delivery progress, manage risks, and ensure value realization through demos, UAT, and feedback loops. • Build iterative solution delivery roadmaps and align scope and schedules with Mastercard Technology. • Develop strategic business cases and ROM estimates for transformation initiatives. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience. • Proven ability to lead in a matrixed environment with autonomy. • Strong problem-solving skills using both quantitative and qualitative methods. • Experience in agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and CI/CD. • Proficiency in cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, serverless), microservices, NoSQL databases, and distributed systems. • Familiarity with AI/ML technologies. • Ability to use data and metrics to support assumptions and business cases. • Knowledge of the financial services industry, especially retail banking and payments. Preferred Qualifications • Advanced degree in a technical or business discipline. • Experience with Aha! and product scorecard frameworks. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Experience in strategic planning and OKR lifecycle management.

Overview The Data and Analytics group within Services is seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to manage the Mastercard Performance (MyMPA) product. MyMPA is a system designed to provide comprehensive data on Mastercard, Maestro, and Cirrus brands. It includes various data dimensions such as QMR and Processed Data, Country and Regional Totals, and Issuing, Acquiring, and Cross Border data. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and subject matter experts to drive the growth of the product aligned with Mastercard's business goals and core values. This individual will also manage the development of operational processes and procedures including process for new market deployments, customer implementations and platform management. Short Description

The Government Training Engineering (GTE) F-22 Engineering Integration & Systems Team is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to serve in the role of F-22 Portfolio Operations and Deliverables Product Manager in Berkeley, MO. The selected individual will be the point of contact for technical and contractual program level meetings, both external and internal, and program deliverables required to ensure program expectations are met. The F-22 Portfolio Operations and Deliverables Product Manager will have the opportunity to interact with United States Air Force (USAF) Program Office, Air Combat Command (ACC), Pilot Training Instructors, and Pilots of the nation's premier 5th gen air dominance fighter, the F-22 Raptor.

The F-22 Engineering Integration & Systems Team is responsible for the proposal, development, integration, delivery, and sustainment of a wide range of products directly employed in the training of our nation's fighter pilots and maintainers:

The F-22 Portfolio Operations and Deliverables Product Manager will organize, prepare, and lead F-22 Training Systems program meetings (internal & external), create and/or deliver meeting materials, define and manage plans for risk mitigation and opportunities, coordinate on-time completion of program deliverables, gather timely responses to customer inquiries, manage and coordinate lab sustainment activities, and provide support to the F-22 Training Systems Chief Engineer and Program Manager.

Your role includes project management, technical leadership and planning, organizing and leading program level technical and coordination discussions. You will be driving technical excellence to ensure program and customer needs are met. You will work directly with the customer and the Government Training Engineering Capability teams to maintain a common vision and to deliver winning products to ensure Trainer capability exceeds the training needs of the F-22 Warfighter.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical, business, and integration leadership to engineering projects

  • Manage product release schedules and release activities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering project management
  • 3+ year experience managing projects with Earned Value Management reporting requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Level 4)
  • Experience generating System Requirements and Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Experience conducting Earned Value Management

Product Manager - Roller Chain Division

The Product Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Roller Chain Division (RCD) in North and South America and will create and execute the short and long-term strategies that will provide the required sales and profit growth. This position will lead the organization's product management and marketing efforts for the complete portfolio of standard and made-to-order roller chain products and will require close interaction with Customers, Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service to be successful.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description - other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

  • Conducting market research to determine the strategic direction of the division through a variety of methods including, but not limited to, customer visits, attending industry association meetings and seminars, and web-based research. This will culminate in the creation and execution of the annual business plan.
  • Working closely with both the inside and outside sales teams to provide timely responses to customer and application questions by email, phone, and in-person visits. Will provide pricing guidance for day-to-day and large project quotes and will lead all contract pricing negotiations with large customers.
  • Identifying new products to be developed and working with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and logistics, to successfully launch them to the market. This process will include identifying target markets and competitive products as well as developing detailed sales and margin projections and a formal go-to-market launch.
  • Providing technical product and application support to customers and sales by phone, email, and customer visits.
  • Development of pricing strategies for all assigned product lines to ensure sales and profit targets are met. Will be responsible for developing and monitoring all pricing policies. This will include regular review of all product line sales and costs and will require close interaction with manufacturing and accounting.
  • Creating the annual sales and bookings budget and the regular review of the financial performance to adjust the sales forecast monthly throughout the year.
  • Leading the marketing and advertising programs through digital, social media, and traditional marketing channels to promote the brand and increase awareness of key products. Work closely with both internal and external marketing resources to maximize the ROI for the advertising budget.
  • Other tasks/functions as assigned.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of successful product management, technical sales, or application engineering experience with a manufacturing company
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Bachelor's degree required, technical degree a plus
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a group across all levels of the organization
  • Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office, high-level Excel experience a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
