The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. Nexus Family Healing is hiring Youth Care Professionals for our Onarga, IL location!

Nexus-Onarga Family Healing is located approximately 30 miles south of Kankakee and 45 miles north of Champaign-Urbana, just a few miles off of I-57 on a historic site in Onarga, IL. Nexus Onarga provides boys ages 10 to 20 years old a structured, homelike environment where they can safely address a variety of unhealthy behaviors and mental health issues as well as childhood trauma.

Work Schedule & Salary:

  • Salary starts at $19.60-$20.60 per hour based on YCP level, education & prior experience in the human services field
  • Day/Afternoon Shift: Two morning shifts per week (6:30a-3p) & three afternoon shifts per week (1:30-10pm)

Work Environment:

  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100+ pounds with assistance.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time (2-4 hours).
  • Must be able to twist, bend and stretch in a manner conducive to the execution of daily activities within the residential program.

The Youth Care Professional is responsible for providing reliable and timely support and reinforcement of all therapeutic programing by providing guidance and direction to clients in their daily living activities by utilizing trauma informed practices to maintain a safe environment, while ensuring the client's needs are met.

What You'll Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Mentorship:

Requirements:
  • Licensure: Current Idaho PLS license, or ability to obtain licensure within 3 months.

Position Summary

The purpose of this Direct Support Professional position (DSP) level 2 (Driver) is to work directly with people with disabilities in a community integrated setting so they can live a life filled with purpose. Rise's Life Enrichment Programs are designed to support persons who have a disability. People in our program benefit from and enjoy participating in day activities, creating friendships, and developing new opportunities for personal growth. Our DSPs work to support individuals in our programs with customized support plans that are designed to meet their specific needs and interests. Examples of Life Enrichment Program activities include: art therapy, music therapy, cooking, YMCA classes and events, social activities (potlucks, etc), learning activities including reading and discussion groups, community activities, and special events.

The hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 7a-3p.

Responsibilities

  • Direct support professionals assist people with personal cares and other activities of daily living including therapist-designed programs such as walking and range of motion exercises
  • Document Care Plan outcomes and objectives daily.
  • Dispense medication per physician orders. Maintain required medication documentation as required by state licensing.
  • Assist Activity Coordinators in set-up of activities and encourage people during groups/activities as needed.
  • Continually inspire personal growth in the people we support by working on personal goals and implementing person-centered practices.
  • Conducts oneself as a positive role model for people and other team members in terms of appearance, socialization and teamwork.
  • Position does include lifting and transferring adults to/from wheelchairs
  • Complete documentation as needed
  • Provide daily transportation of persons supported in Rise vans and buses
  • Input information into Care Director database.
Requirements:
  • Experience, competence and sensitivity in working with people with brain injuries and physical disabilities preferred.
  • High School diploma
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position and correctly use assistive and safety equipment.
  • Hardworking, flexible and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Maintain calm demeanor in handling occasional difficult situations.
  • Previous experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person
  • Applicants must comply with and pass Department of Human Services background check (Rule 11)
  • Applicants must have a valid driver license and willing to drive a Rise vehicleto transport persons served

The Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging at UPMC/University of Pittsburgh is currently accepting applications for the Chief of Academic Musculoskeletal Imaging. The Division is integral to the care of trauma patients, care of patients with complex hardware complications, athletes at all levels of skill, patients with arthritis, total joint replacements, as well as those with bone and soft tissue tumors. Our Division provides consultative service for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Pittsburgh Panthers, and the athletic teams of the University of Pittsburgh, as well as local colleges and high schools. Applicants must have an MD degree or equivalent, must be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Radiology, and must be eligible for unrestricted licensure in Pennsylvania. Completion of an ACGME accredited diagnostic radiology residency is required. A Musculoskeletal Imaging fellowship training is also required.

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer -Senior/Project Manager with strong municipal, industrial, and commercial facility design and project management experience. Project types include water and wastewater pumping and treatment, SCADA and telemetry systems, street, pedestrian and roadway lighting, airport facilities and airfield lighting, industrial raw water intake pumping and process controls, commercial public safety, maintenance and office facilities, and parks and recreation facilities.

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform project scoping, scheduling, and cost estimating
  • Perform short circuit, load flow, and relay coordination studies
  • Develop one-lines, plan drawings, cable schedules, interconnection drawings and schematics
  • Interacts with contractors, clients, and facility operators
  • Read and interpret control system, construction, and installation drawings
  • Develop equipment specifications and construction specifications
  • Provide field evaluation, electrical investigations and on-site construction support
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior staff
  • Work and collaborate with the firm's other engineering disciplines
  • Lead business development activities and develop proposals for professional services
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited university, Master's degree a plus
  • Licensed Professional Engineer with 8+ years of experience after licensure
  • LEED Accredited Professional a plus
  • Experience in design, construction management, startup, and commissioning services
  • Proven knowledge of electrical power system modeling techniques. ETAP, SKM, and/or EasyPower experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of electrical construction techniques
  • Ability to obtain technical information from various sources to implement designs and offer solutions
  • Ability to develop and communicate technical information to clients
  • High degree of quality, completeness, attention to detail, documentation, and accuracy.
  • Ability to self-check one's own work and the work of other team members

Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000, depending on experience

The Opportunity

It is all about learning and growing. Our Insurance Customer Service role may be a new career for you. There's a lot to learn, but the journey is mapped out and USAA is willing to invest in you! Our comprehensive, fully paid six-month training program includes all training materials, class discussions, hands-on training, e-learning modules, and the instructor led guidance will help you to support our membership independently. Our in-office development program provides the training you need and the encouragement to create a proactive and independent support style to service our membership.

The work schedule may require working evenings up to 8:00PM Local Time to include a permanent Saturday or Sunday. These roles include a shift differential of 15% for hours worked after 6:00PM Local Time and any hours worked on Saturday or Sunday.

After six months in-office, you'll have the opportunity to work offsite 2 days per week. The actual onsite days are settled between each employee and their manager. Military veterans and spouses are highly encouraged to apply. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Phoenix candidates must successfully prepare for and pass the Property & Casualty (P&C) state licensing exam and obtain license before their hire date. USAA provides all study materials for the licensing prep course and the state license exam fees for up to three attempts.

For new hires starting in September, October, November we are offering a signing bonus of $2,000. Bonuses will be paid in two equal installments of $1,000 after 45 days of employment and after one year of employment.

Our Insurance Customer Service Representatives in our 1 Norterra Drive, Phoenix, AZ location will work within defined guidelines and framework, to provide customer service, sales, and retention activities for one or more of USAA's Property & Casualty personal line products. Representatives interact with our members across multiple contact channels (i.e. inbound phone calls, email, chat, social media, etc.) to provide adequate coverage and advice to help ensure members' financial security.

USAA offers Phoenix employees who reside in designated service zones, a fully subsidized, reliable, safe, and employee-centric transportation solution. The service zone includes all areas connecting to Tempe: Ahwatukee, Alhambra, Central Phoenix, Chandler, Gilbert, Maricopa, Mesa, Paradise Valley, Queen Creek, Scottsdale. What you'll do:
  • Facilitate the member experience by answering phone calls, emails, and other requests from members.
  • Apply developing knowledge of personal lines of insurance to assist members with foundational to moderately complex quotes, binding new business, rating, policy, billing, payment, underwriting, contract and coverage provisions, and premium changes for insurance products and services. Responsible for the respective trailing documents for all states.
