Description
Our Target Client Services Interns gain hands‑on experience in the fast‑paced retail industry while supporting our Target client teams. Interns will work alongside experienced team members to analyze retail data, uncover insights, and help turn data into meaningful stories that inform client strategies and business decisions.
Daily responsibilities will vary based on business needs, giving interns exposure to the evolving retail landscape and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful client work. Along the way, interns will learn how Harvest Group partners with suppliers and retailers to solve problems, identify opportunities, and achieve shared business goals.
In addition to professional development and team‑building opportunities, each intern will complete a summer project to showcase what they have learned.
Responsibilities
Learn Harvest Group systems, tools, and processes to support day‑to‑day client business needs
Collect, organize, and analyze point‑of‑sale and syndicated data using Target systems and sources such as Circana and Nielsen to identify trends and develop actionable insights
Support recurring client reporting by helping translate data into clear takeaways and business recommendationsContribute to internal team meetings and client discussions to gain exposure to client management, retail strategy, and the Target business
Participate in professional development and learning opportunities throughout the internship
Collaborate with fellow interns on a summer project and present findings and recommendations to Harvest Group leaders
Desired Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree with junior, senior, or graduate student status preferred
Interest in a career in sales, analytics, account management, or the retail industry
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an interest in using data to uncover insights
Highly curious with a strong desire and ability to learn
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail‑oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and evolving environment
Self‑motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships
