Accountabilities:

As a Senior Google Ads Specialist, you will take end-to-end ownership of paid advertising campaigns, using data-driven insights and continuous experimentation to improve client outcomes. You will manage multiple accounts independently while contributing strategic recommendations and progressively taking on greater client-facing responsibilities.

  • Develop, launch, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube and Video, Demand Gen, and Shopping.
  • Build and implement strategies for hotels, resorts, and accommodation providers, focusing on increasing direct bookings and maximising return on ad spend.
  • Conduct account audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, and search-term reviews to identify growth opportunities and reduce wasted advertising spend.
  • Optimise bidding strategies, budgets, keywords, negative keywords, audience targeting, ad copy, creative assets, and landing pages.
  • Configure, test, and maintain conversion tracking and attribution using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), enhanced conversions, and offline conversion imports.
  • Run A/B tests across ad copy, creative assets, bidding strategies, and landing pages to improve conversion rates.
  • Monitor campaign performance against key metrics, including return on ad spend (ROAS), cost per acquisition (CPA), conversion volume, and budget utilisation.
  • Prepare performance reports and dashboards using Looker Studio and other reporting tools, translating data into actionable recommendations.
  • Use Google Ads Editor, scripts, and third-party PPC tools to automate workflows and improve campaign efficiency.
  • Stay current with Google Ads updates, emerging features, and industry best practices, proactively recommending new strategies and improvements.
  • Collaborate with SEO, web development, and marketing automation teams to align paid advertising with SEO, generative engine optimisation (GEO), and conversion rate optimisation initiatives.
  • Support SEO and GEO activities where needed, including keyword research, on-page recommendations, content briefs, and technical checks.
  • Gradually assume client-facing responsibilities, including presenting results, discussing campaign strategies, and managing expectations.
  • Manage multiple client accounts and advertising budgets independently, ensuring accurate execution, effective budget pacing, timely reporting, and consistent delivery.
  • Document optimisation decisions and testing results while identifying opportunities to improve campaign performance and overall advertising processes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings advanced Google Ads expertise, a strong analytical mindset, and a proven ability to improve advertising performance across multiple campaigns. • Strong expertise across Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube and Video, Demand Gen, and Shopping campaigns.
  • Advanced knowledge of bidding strategies, keyword research, negative keyword management, audience targeting, ad copy testing, and campaign optimisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve ROAS, reduce CPA, and increase conversion volume, supported by measurable results or case studies.
  • Proficiency in GA4, Google Tag Manager, enhanced conversions, offline conversion imports, and conversion attribution.
  • Experience using Google Ads Editor, Google Ads scripts, Looker Studio, and third-party PPC tools for automation, reporting, and optimisation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to campaign management.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to explain campaign performance, insights, and recommendations clearly.
  • A proactive, self-motivated, organised, and detail-oriented working style, with the ability to operate independently and manage multiple accounts with minimal supervision.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to identify opportunities, introduce new ideas, and raise performance standards.
