Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.\n\nPosition Details:\nFull-Stack Software Engineer–Automotive Manufacturing-Georgetown,KY\nLocation :Georgetown,KY-(Onsite)\nProject Duration : 6+ months contract \nPay Rate : $60 - $62 an hour on W2\n\nJob Summary: \nThe Full-Stack Software Engineer – Automotive Manufacturing designs, develops, integrates, and supports software solutions that connect automotive manufacturing operations with cloud and enterprise systems.\nThe role spans the full software stack—from shop-floor edge applications and industrial data collection to cloud services, backend systems, APIs, databases, and front-end user experiences.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong full-stack development skills with practical experience in automotive manufacturing, industrial systems, and connected factory environments. They understand the unique requirements of manufacturing software, including real-time data, equipment connectivity, reliability, cybersecurity, scalability, and operation in environments where cloud and edge computing must work together.\n\nExperience & Qualifications\n• Significant software-development experience in automotive manufacturing, industrial automation, or discrete manufacturing.\n• Strong experience developing both front-end and backend applications.\n• Experience developing software across cloud and edge environments.\n• Experience integrating software with manufacturing systems and/or industrial equipment.\n• Strong understanding of software architecture and distributed systems.\n• Experience working with APIs, databases, messaging, and data integration.\n• Experience with modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.\n• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.\n• Understanding of manufacturing operations and shop-floor technology.\n• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.\n• Ability to communicate effectively with software developers, architects, manufacturing engineers, plant personnel, IT/OT teams, and business stakeholders.\nPreferred Experience\n• Experience with MES/MOM platforms.\n• Experience with OPC UA, MQTT, Spark plug, or other industrial communication technologies.\n• Experience with industrial IoT and connected-factory architectures.\n• Experience with Azure IoT or equivalent cloud/edge technologies.\n• Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming platforms.\n• Experience with digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives.\n• Experience developing applications for multi-plant or enterprise manufacturing environments.\n• Knowledge of manufacturing standards and information models.\n• Experience with observability and distributed-system monitoring.\n• Experience working in regulated or high-availability manufacturing environments.\n\nMandatory skills: \n· Software-development\n· Experience in automotive manufacturing,\n· Industrial automation, or discrete manufacturing.\n· Experience developing both front-end and backend applications\n· Full stack development\n\nTo discuss this amazing opportunity, reach out to our Talent Acquisition Specialist Srushti Mane at email address srush.mane@generistek.com can be reached on # (630) 576-1930.\n
