The opportunity
As the Client Aviation Manager, you will be the point leader for a single-aircraft department, combining strategic oversight with Captain duties on a Citation XLS+. You’ll champion safety, crew performance, and client experience, while ensuring total compliance with FAA, company, and regulatory standards.
What you’ll do
Lead, mentor, and supervise assigned flight and maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with Solairus, FAA, and other applicable manuals and regulations.
Coordinate and review crew and maintenance training; maintain a Training Currency and Monthly Flight Time record for each crewmember per the Solairus FOM.
Develop and refine client-focused scheduling procedures to meet mission needs while optimizing safety and efficiency.
Approve PTO and expense reports for assigned personnel in alignment with company policies.
Participate in recruiting and interviewing for assigned personnel; forecast and communicate pilot relief needs to the Client Responsible Officer.
Actively fly as Captain on the Citation XLS+, remaining type-current and mission-ready.
Engage fully in the Safety Management System (SMS) and promote a proactive safety culture.

Typed and current on the Citation XLS+.
First-class medical certificate.
Proven management background with exceptional leadership skills; NBAA CAM certification or comparable leadership training preferred.
Ability to work on an on-call basis with schedule flexibility.
Ability to complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
Located within, or willing to relocate to, a two-hour radius of KAUS.
