About the Job

Elastic seeks a Principal Software Engineer to join the Elasticsearch - Distributed Systems team, focusing on scale, performance, and resilience in our Serverless offering. You will tackle deep distributed systems challenges in node communication, indexing, allocation, and data management across cluster nodes.

You will design and operate core components, improve indexing performance, and own end-to-end projects while collaborating with multiple teams.
