Flexible, hands-on marketing role with the opportunity to make a visible impact

KSA Learning is an established learning and development business working with companies throughout the UK construction industry and its supply chain.

For 20 years, we’ve worked with contractors, manufacturers, distributors and merchants, helping them develop their people across sales, leadership, management and personal development.

We’re now looking for a Marketing Executive to help us take the next step in how we market KSA, communicate the work we’re doing and reach new and existing clients.

We’re a small, agile business with a close-knit core team. You’ll work closely with our Marketing & Operations Manager and wider team, while having the freedom to manage your own workload and get things moving.

What you’ll be doing

Campaigns & content

  • Plan and deliver targeted B2B marketing campaigns.
  • Manage organic and paid LinkedIn activity.
  • Create email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Turn customer projects, results and feedback into engaging case studies.
  • Create content that supports sales conversations and new business opportunities.
  • Maintain a clear marketing content and campaign calendar.

Website, search & market insight

  • Maintain and update website content and landing pages.
  • Support SEO through keyword research and content improvements.
  • Research customers, competitors and relevant industry developments.
  • Use research to identify useful content and campaign opportunities.
  • Identify relevant awards and coordinate entries.

Brand & training materials

  • Take draft training presentations, workbooks and resources and turn them into professional, well-designed materials.
  • Apply KSA Learning and customer branding accurately and consistently.
  • Maintain and improve branded templates and document standards.

Performance & reporting

  • Monitor performance across LinkedIn, email, the website, SEO and paid campaigns.
  • Produce clear and useful marketing reports.
  • Use results to improve future marketing activity.

About you

We’re looking for a practical, proactive marketer who enjoys the hands-on side of marketing and is comfortable taking ownership of their work.

You may be earlier in your career with relevant marketing training or qualifications and some practical experience behind you, or you may have considerably more experience and be looking for a part-time role that gives you variety and flexibility.

You’ll be:

  • Proactive and comfortable managing your own workload.
  • Able to take a brief or idea and turn it into something tangible.
  • Organised and good at keeping different activities moving.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Willing to identify opportunities and suggest better ways of doing things.
  • Curious and prepared to learn about our industry, clients and services.
  • Happy working across different types of activity rather than within one narrow area of marketing.
  • Someone who takes pride in getting things finished and getting them right.

Strong written English, excellent attention to detail and a good eye for design and layout are important.

Experience across B2B marketing, LinkedIn and social media, email marketing, content writing, website content and SEO, case studies, analytics and reporting would all be useful.

You should also be comfortable working with PowerPoint and Word, with experience of Canva and/or Adobe tools advantageous.

The working pattern

This is a part-time role working three days per week, with the flexibility to work from home for up to two of those days.

The specific days and working hours aren’t fixed, so we’re happy to discuss a working pattern that works for both KSA Learning and the right candidate.

What you'll get from the role

You’ll be joining an established business where your contribution will be visible and where you’ll have the opportunity to help shape how our marketing develops.

You’ll have:

  • A varied role across campaigns, content, digital marketing and brand.
  • Direct access to the people making decisions.
  • The opportunity to contribute ideas and influence how we approach marketing.
  • The scope to take increasing ownership as your knowledge of the business develops.
  • The opportunity to see the direct impact of your work on the development and growth of the business.

How to apply

Please apply with your CV and a short introduction telling us why the role interests you and what you could bring to KSA Learning.

If possible, we’d also like to see two or three examples of work you’ve personally created or contributed to, such as a campaign, case study, webpage, email, presentation or branded document, with a brief explanation of your contribution.
