About the Role I'm the founder of Insane Beauty, an emerging hair extensions brand, and I'm looking for a creative, reliable individual to assist me with capturing lifestyle content for social media.
This is primarily a filming and photography role, NOT a video editing or full-service content creation position.
I will provide the content ideas, creative direction, and my personal iPhone for filming. I'm looking for someone who can help bring those ideas to life by capturing flattering, natural, aesthetically pleasing footage and photos.
The goal is to create authentic lifestyle content that feels organic to TikTok and Instagram rather than overly staged or professionally produced.
What You'll Be Doing Filming short-form lifestyle content using my iPhone
Taking high-quality photos for Instagram, social media, and brand marketing
Capturing everyday outings
Filming natural hair movement, different angles, and candid moments
Helping with framing, lighting, positioning, and simple creative direction
Occasionally capturing behind-the-scenes content for my hair business like a photoshoot
What I'm Looking For A strong eye for aesthetics, composition, and flattering angles
Experience taking quality photos and videos using an iPhone
Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, and lifestyle content trends
Someone who understands natural, feminine, beauty-focused content
Comfortable filming in public settings
Patient, dependable, and easy to communicate with
Able to travel to locations throughout the Twin Cities
Experience in beauty, fashion, lifestyle photography, or social media content is a plus, but professional videography experience is not required.
Project Details Filming equipment: My personal iPhone
Sessions: Approximately 1-2 hours, as needed
Frequency: Initially 1-2 sessions per month, with potential for ongoing work
Editing: Not required
Deliverables: Photos and raw video footage captured during each session
Compensation: Hourly, based on experience
